Question about 1996 Ford Explorer
I assume that the engine cranks, but won't fire. If so, you should check for spark to ensure that your ignition system is working. If you don't know how to do this, it is probably best left to a professional, as it can be dangerous to both you and your vehicle if done incorrectly. If there is spark, then check your fuel pressure. Again, leave this to a pro if you don't know how to do it. If you have spark and fuel, and assuming the engine is mechanically sound (has compression and proper cam and ignition timing), then it should start. Good luck!
