The carburetor, if your vehicle has one, is typically located on the engine intake manifold. This is often on top of the engine, but sometimes along side the engine.

Where is the carburetor located on a 1988 pontiac bonneville

All, well, mostly all, carburetors are located right in the center of the engine, on top of the head block. Some have a black cover, so to see the carburetor, you must remove that cover.

Where is the air filter located on a nissan sentra 1996

On a carbureted GA series engine, the air filter is located on top of the carburetor (the carburetor is just behind the engine) inside the black casing. On an EFI engine, from the intake manifold (the tubes and large metal thing at the rear portion of the engine), just trace the large hose to the air box and inside is the filter.

Hi!!
In order to better assist you, please provide the carburetor part #, it is located as follows: On Carter Carburetors, the number is stamped on the left rear foot of throttle body on vertical surface near bolt hole. The Carburetor number is preceded by the letters "TQ" and followed by an "S". On Holley Carburetors, the number is stamped on main body flange. It is in front of the lever, controlled by throttle position transducer, under the choke vacuum diaphragm. The Carburetor number is preceded by the letter "R" and followed by an "A".

Are you talking about the Idle Stop Switch? if so it is located on the carburetor, above the throttle linkage. If you are talking about the Idle Stop Solenoid then it is located on the right side of the carburetor near the throttle linkage.

If this helps please rate me.

Where can i locate my fuel filter on my 1981 chevy truck c10

It depends on engine size, but most likely it is located in the carburetor where the fuel line enters. There should be what appears to be a large nut on the carburetor body. Remove the nut/fuel filter housing and replace the filter, don't loose the spring inside.
Good luck.
