How to rebuild a saturn vue transmission

your best bet would be to take it to a shop, rebuilding an automatic transmission is very confusing, and tedious, and could possibly be very expensive if done wrong and manual transmissions require special tools and a press to press in bearings and gears on and off shafts

How to change wheel bearing in 92 honda civic lx

You can change it without a press if you absolutely have to, but I really strongly recommend that you take it to a machine shop and have it done right with a press. My local shop charges only $65 for the job.

Rear suspension,bushings,2005 jeep liberty

Generally the bushings aren't too expensive (likely about 25-30 each...But, unless you have done this kind of work, driving the bushings out and installing them can be difficult without a press. I've done many in-shop and its nothing like the ones I've done at remote locations using a hammer and chisels etc. You can do this yourself but I'd opt to do the r&r at home and have a machine shop do the actual bushing pressing. If you damage the arm ends you will need to replace the arm or do a bunch of bending to get the bushings back in place.
If you do have a press, than go at it!!

1997 Honda Accord Sedan needs right ball bearings replaced. Is this a serious issue?

I am assuming that it is the right front??? If so, this must be done in a shop as the old bearings must be pressed out and the new ones pressed in by a hydraulic press only.

My camry is making a loud whining noise. I took it to a mechanic and he said it was probably the front bearings. The noise only happens when the wheels are spining. My question is how do I replace these....

Hi there. Most, if not all front wheel bearings these days are pressed into the front wheel hub assembly and to replace these is not normally a DIY job. Because new bearings need to be pressed into the hub assembly, a machine shop press ought to be used and the job undertaken by competent individuals. My advice if you do intend undertaking the work yourself is to remove the hub assembly and then have a machine shop operative remove the old bearings and have the new bearings pressed-in for you. Hope this helps, Scottech.

As far as car jumping the transmission fluid needs to checked/change by someone who knows how to do it properly. There is a certain sequence that must be followed and only an experienced transmission shop will probably know how.Don't trust the dealer, been there done that.$250. to have done correctly.

All the bearings for the rear diff are pressed off and on, they can be done at home if u have a high quality bearing puller, but to press them on should be done at the machine shop.

Replacing front wheel bearing on 2001 Jetta TDI

I've done this job several times using a bench vise and an old bearing to press out the bad one. Not an easy job, easy to ruin the new bearing by not pressing the new one in straight. Most shops will be able to press the old and new for few dollars. Oh yeah, there is an internal Circlip that has to be removed first, a job in itself....
