Sorry to hear your compass and ambient temp display isn't working. Unfortunately, this is a common issue with vehicles using this type of display. It probably isn't a fuse.

My company repairs these in a manner that precludes the problem from happening again (we use new components, and a heatsink to prevent debonding). Repair includes a one year warranty on our work!

If you are talking about a blank display ( and you are sure it is not turned off, press the button 3 times ) there is a good how to at F150lone that shows the resistors that come unsoldered. If they are still in the housing, you can just solder them back down, else you will need to get some 51 ohm resistors

Superdutys also have a similar issue, but the resistor is a 68 ohm resistor. The last one I soldered back together had 1 missing resistor and 1 was hanging by a thread.
Make sure you get all the traces on the PCB if you need to solder in a new resistor, the SD has 3 traces to the resistor.

There can be moisture and corrosion on connector to sending unit. There can be sediment on head of sender inside engine. You could have a mouse problems, they are known to eat wiring.

bad bulb or fuse, also check that you have a good ground behind that panel as the screws do sometimes come loose on SUV's (four wheeling, potholes, etc.)

Compass out of whack

You need to recalibrate the compass. The procedure is in your owners manual. Here are the basic steps.

First, you will need to verify that your compass zone is set to your current geographic location. Since I do not know where you are located, I cannot tell you the code. They are listed in the manual. (For example, So Cal is zone 5.)

Second, here is the compass calibration adjustment procedure:

Perform this adjustment in an open area free from steel structures and high voltage lines. For optimum calibration, turn off all electrical accessories (heater/air conditioning, wipers, etc.) and make sure all vehicle doors are shut.
1. Start the vehicle.
2. To enter the compass calibration mode, press and hold the button for greater than eight seconds. The display will then show CAL in the display window.
3. Drive the vehicle slowly (less than 3 mph) in circles until CAL indicator turns off. As many as 5 complete circles may be required.
4. The compass is now calibrated.
