Yes, very helpful. Even though the shocks may be the item, I was thinking it might be something other than the shocks as I had the shocks replaced in the Cavalier and it did not help, although that was not important as the Cavalier is lighter and lower. Now I know what to look for and what might be okay for the mechanic to fix. Thanks!

The shocks are worn out or the sway bar is disconnected. Crawl underneath your car and look at the suspension , if they are so worn out then they are almost surely leaking. Replace the worn shocks.

I have a 04 Chevy trailblazer LT, the sunroof is stuck in the "up or vent" position. I can hear and feel the tracks go forward and back, but it won't go down. Any suggestions?

Replace the regulator. The cables or gear for the motor is bad. You have to remove all the side panels going to the head liner, then remove the headliner. To unbolt the regulator. and replace it.

Replace low beam headlamp 2004 trailblazer

Passenger side- remove the air cleaner (2-3 screws) Then you have clear access to the back of the headlight. Feel for the rubber round dust boot, and remove it. Then remove and replace the bulb.

Drivers side, stick your hand down behind the headlight, feel for the rubber round boot. Remove this and then remove and replace the bulb.

The other method involves removing the grill, but it's brittle so not worth cracking or breaking this.

Checking Google, which knows most faults, you are the only person to have this problem. Two things spring to mind.

Someone has mis-wired something between lights and the Ignition/Park interlock switch.

The lighting is controlled by a Body Control Module and needs reprogramming by a dealer.

How do you change the headlamp on a 2004 Chev. TrailBlazer?

Drivers side is easy, stick your hand down by the alternator and over to the back of the headlight assembly. You'll feel a rubber round boot, pull this off and twist out the bulb.

Passenger side, remove the air cleaner top, and move the air cleaner out of the way. You'll now visually see the rubber boot covering the bub.

How do you access the headlight bulbs in a 2004 trailblazer.

Drivers side- reach your hand in front of the batter, you'll feel little rubber covers that just pop off so you can get to the bulbs.

Passenger side- take the air cleaner top off, you can now access that side.

Starter on 2004 chevy trailblazer

If you can't get the key out of the ignition, it's probably the ignition switch (where the key goes in) that is bad, not the starter. The starter is on the right side under the exhaust manifold behind the right front wheel. It's not easy to change on those unless you know what you're doing.

Dual climate control

There is a thing called a blend door, it controls air temp, that is where the problem is, most common issue is the motor that operates the door fails.
