Question about 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada
If you have a leak on the system, the R134a refrigerant must be removed by a qualified HVAC technician. He can diagnose the problem more accurrately, then with the system evacuated, you decide wether to do the repairs yourself or let him do it.
If you decide to DIY, you can get a used compressor at the Junk Yard and the orifice tube filter and the Acumulator at the autoparts when you buy the R134a refrigerant and 6 ounces of oil for the A]C system. Ask the store clerk for your vehicle refrigerant capacity, do not overfill system.
