SOURCE: 2004 dodge ram 1500 3.9 auto trans problem
Check fluid level first. See if fluid smells "burnt". The signs are the tranny is dying. Don't go far in this vehicle until you've taken it to a shop you trust. They will pull the drain pan and inspect. Next sign of death will be a whining in the transmission as the suction strainer for the pump becomes clogged with the clutch material. Good Luck.

do the lights come on in the front if its just a little red light its possible you tripped the security on the van . or is it the batery light flashing and the battery is dead
SOURCE: oil pressure fluctuating
The sensor could be failing to read the lower pressure when the engine RPM slows down. Or the pump could be failing. I would replace the sensor and see if that doesn't correct the problem
