Question about 2007 GMC Envoy Denali

1 Answer

2007 Denali interior lights will not come on when the door is opened. They can be manually turned on though. Is this a problem with the overide switch?

If only one door does not make light go on, then door switch.
If no door works, then switch at light bad. The light switch has 3 positions: off, on, and on when door open.

My 2007 pontiac torrent interior lights will not turn off?? All doors are closed!

Probably the door light sensor. I fixed on on a Ford F250 on time doing the same thing. It fixed it. It's trial and error to know which one though. Unless you take everyone apart and unplug one at a time. It is behind the door latch on a Ford.

Driver window switch not working

That buzzing sound was probably a short circuit in the switch panel. You will need to take the door card out and replace this panel. First check the fuses though. You may have blown a couple of extras because of the short. Did the door get wet on the inside somehow?

Dome lights won't turn off

Been having a problem with the dome lights on a 99 chevy blazer. Still can't figure out what the problem is. There is a dome light overide button located under the dimmer wheel. When I push the overide button in the dome light goes off, but when I open any of the doors the dome light will not come on. When the overide button is out the dome light stays on all the time and will not turn off even though every door is closed. I checked all the pushbuttons and everything tests good. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

2004 Chevy Venture Interior light will not turn off when you put on drive or lock the doors. I have to use Interior Lamp Overide Switch to turn off the light.

check for an open door ( all doors ) , defective courtesy light door switch, or short in interior light electrical circuitry.
