How much oil is in a 2003 chevy s 10 ac compressor 2.2 liter engine

I use 2 ounces in the compressor and 4 ounces in the driers when I install new units there should be a total of 6 to 8 ounces in the entire system and no more. New compressors are assembled with some oil to test them so even ones with the dry warning stickers have about a ounce in them.

How to replace receier drier

You discharge the system by recovering all refrigerant, Unfasten the hoses to the unit, and unbolt the unit.
Cut open the dryer and extract and measure the OIL level in the unit. If the oil level is correct, replace the oil with the same quantity, if the oil level is low, how much low reflects as a percentage of the entire system. For example if you were to have one ounce of oil, but only have 1/2 ounce of oil, the ENTIRE SYSTEM would be short on oil by 50% !! Good idea to check the oil with litmus paper.
THEN you evacuate the system for 30 minutes, to remove moisture which will kill the system, then leak test, then refill with the measured amount of refrigerant. This takes special tools and training, and LICENSING in most areas. Consider having a shop do this for you.

How much refrigerant does a 1999 dodge grand caravan hold?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
This is probably more information that you wanted but... have to cover all the possibilities:
If you are servicing a system that has leaked you have no idea how much oil it left in the system.
DO it right the first time......
The proper way to service it is to connect it to a recovery & servicing unit. Evacuate and test the system for leaks, then reservice the system per the specs below.
1999 Dodge Caravan:

. Low side gauge (evaporator suction): 10 to 37 psi.*
. High side gauge (discharge): 112 to 210 psi.*
. Refrigerant oil capacity (without rear A/C): 5.00 oz.
. Refrigerant oil capacity (with rear A/C): 7.40 oz.
. Refrigerant capacity (without rear A/C): 2.13 lbs. of R-134a
. Refrigerant capacity (with rear A/C): 2.88 lbs. of R-134a

*Sea level and ambient air temperature of 80 degrees F.

Ac has been recharged and the compressor is working fine but it still isn't blowing cold air. i replaced the discharge line because the old one had little pin holes in it and it still doesn't work.

If you didn't do a recovery process, and recover the oil, and refridgerant, then possibly you have too much oil in the system. The kits that you buy at local parts stores contain oil mixed with the refridgerant. your gauge may read full, but the system may not have enough refridgerant. This is just a suggestion, ,hope this helps.

How much freon does a 1982 911 a/c system take?

All non-factory a/c's in 911's will be satisfied with 28 oz. of R12. The factory a/c with a front Condenser and a double row rear Condenser will hold 39-42 oz. With only a rear Condenser it should take 34oz. The Important thing hear is not to put in any more freon that it takes to clear the Sight Glass on the Receiver/Drier. This MUST be checked with the deck lid CLOSED and the engine running at 2000 RPM for a minute minimum. Putting in more Freon than is necessary will do no good and only serve to make higher head pressure, more heat and damage your parts.
Also below is a link to all of the info on your ac in your 911.
