If you have headlamps failing and bulbs do not do the trick, the headlamp switch is your culprit and should be changed very very soon. Let me know if you need anything else. I have diagrams.

How do I get left hand park lights and dash lights to work.

Your left hand park light needs a new bulb. If I knew what year car I could tell you which bulb, 1156 or 1157 bulb on older cars, on newer ones ??? There are a lot of them but it is bulb.

Instrument cluster is a blown fuse in your fuse box, most likely 15 or 20 amp. Replace.

Hope this helps Mike

Right hand brake light not working vp commodore.bulb has been replaced but still no go

I assume the left hand brake light works.
First check that you have replaced it with the correct bulb. Make sure it is the same as the left hand brake light bulb.
Sounds silly but different bulbs will fit the same socket, but not work.
Make sure no one will push the brake pedal and see that contacts are clean and there is spring pressure behind the contact in the socket. If all the above is okay then you probably have a wiring problem.
Either the earth wire, usually black, is damaged or not connected to earth (body work) .
Or the power wire from left hand side light is cut or damaged. Check the colour of the wire on the left hand brake light. It will be the same for the right side.
If you have a trailer plug follow the wire from it back to where it connects to the cars original wiring. The problem could be at that connection.
Good luck

At first my front right hand turn signal wasnt working. my husband thought that the bulb burned so we bought one..but when he went to change it he noticed it was the wrong one..and also when he lifted the...

Not expensive, Go back under the Hood and compare the wiring positions on the Left hand bulb to the RH. If this is all correct, then check the Ground connection of that lamp. When the Headlights are ON, the RH turn signal, is tacking a Ground from that Headlamp.

Good luck. DT

How do u change the main head light bulb opposite the driver side? thanx

very easy should take about 15-20 min to fix look inside engine compartment, there are 2 black platic covers over the lights, one that sticks out this is normal driving lights, main beam light is the flat one which you turn to the left, once off you can see bulbs pull wires off gently and you then squeeze together the bits of metal at the end of the bulb and gently push down and forward,i hope you can understand this it is really quite easy to do but is tight if you have big hands, if i can do it anyone can.

reasons bulbs keep blowning.your head light bulbs is halogen bulbs.dont touch with bare hands.the oils on your hands will make them over heat and use clean gloves on your hands when replacing the head light bulbs.if all is good.check alternator out could be overcharging causing too much current flow through electrical circuit blowing out bulbs.use a digital volt meter hook it battery with car running battery voltage should be 13.5 to 14.5 volts. if it is 15 to 16 volts too many volts.alternator is faulty.due to lock out features turn off radio before disconnecting battery cables so you wont lose radio playing code.

Removing the head light from a 1997 pathfinder

I replace my head light bulbs recently and it was easy.
I think that you might have to replace the whole head light assembly in order to replace the glass.
Hope this helps. I found the answer in the drivers hand book under light bulb replacement.

Head light 07 HHR

The headlight assembly is accessed from inside the fender well. There are two pop out plastic rivets and a small (4mm? head) body screw that secure the fender liner to the fender. Those need to be removed. Pull the fender liner back enough to work your arm into the fender. Locate the wiring to the headlight and grasp the plug. Rotate it to the left until the bulb is free of the reflector. Pull the lamp and wiring out from behind the fender liner. Remove the bad bulb. There is a release tab on the plug. Insert the new bulb into the plug. DO NOT touch the bulb glass. The oil from your skin can cause the bulb to explode when it gets hot. Hold the plug and work the bulb and wiring back to the original position. It is a little easier to look through the headlight lens as you work the bulb back into the reflector. Turn the plug to the right until it is properly seated. Replace the two pop out rivets and the body screw.

You should replace the headlights in pairs. I didn't and the right bulb went out in a couple more weeks when the weather was much worse. The right bulb was more of a pain to replace than the left, probably because I am right handed.

Hope this helps.
