"I have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0 V6... Had ECU replaced . Now is throwing a random misfire code P300... what are these code and can one cause the other? Help!"

code p300 refers to random/multiple misfires--misfire detected==causes--spark plugs--HT leads --injectors--ignition coils--low compression--wiring
If you are only now experiencing the problem after changing the ECU, I would suspect that wiring and connections to the new ECU may not have been fitted properly. There may be problems in the ECU CPU (chip) and it may be necessary to use a scanner to reset the CPU program to recognize the sensors of the vehicle correctly

My 2000 GMC Safari will misfire sometimes and when i stop at an intersection it will idle rough then runs ok What is the cause of this ?

p300, is a generic code for misfires. Could be any of the cylinders or all. When's the last time you had a tune up? Start with the cheap stuff, fuel filter, air filter, and clean the throttle body. If that doesn't clear it up, replace the plugs and wires.

Honda civic 1998 EX check engine light on codes p300 p0301 p302 p303 p304

I don't think it is your catalytic converter because your light usually flashes and a bad cat I never heard of them causing a misfire. I ran your other code it is for a faulty EGR system. Exhaust gas recirculation excessive. You are getting too much exhaust gas back in the system. This will cause your misfire. Go-to a trusted mechanic and have them check out your EGR system.

Po300,301,302,161,306 code numbers,what are they.upon acceleration it is like gas is having problem being sent to engine

P300 is random multiple misfire,301 is cylinder 1 misfire. 302 is cylinder 2 misfire & 306 is cylinder 6 misfire. P161 is a bad heater circuit in oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 2. It is behind catalytic convertor. I would replace downstream oxygen sensor & clear codes. Run vehicle it may be all that is wrong.

99 Ford Expedition. P300 & P401

I can tell you that there is a difference in ATF for a Chrysler and a Ford. The Ford usually has Red fluid and the Chrysler has Clear. That may be what happened to the trans. The torque converter may have gone out, which the lurching in 1st gear could be a lockup problem inside the torque converter. Then when the torque converter breaks your engine is not connected to the transmission.

You should have done a compression test or electronic cylinder balance test on #8.

I have a 99 Ford Expedition. I was getting code P300 misfire cyclinder(8). The car would sometimes jump in first gear only. My mechanic tried to fix this by first switching out the spark plugs & coils,...

First off dont take me wrong but you need a new mechanic, He may be a nice guy but....... you never patch an engine and never heard of replacing 2 cylinders.You are being taken advantage of.
Please take you auto to an honest garage and let them diagnose the problem and please let me know what they come up with

Loss of power

Some things to check since it has sat so long.
Bad gas Fuel filter dirty injectors dirty throttle body
The p300 code is a multiple cylinder misfire code. It sounds to me from what you described, that you are having some type of fuel pressure issues.
