White smoke refers to excess air. You are not getting the proper fuel into your cylinders that you need. One or more of your fuel injectors may be bad, your fuel pump may be on the verge of going out, your fuel filter may be clogged. In either case it is a fuel problem and you would need to go from the fuel injectors and work your way back to the fuel pump to find out! If it is actually blue smoke (sometimes it is light blue and hard to spot) then you are burning oil and your piston rings may need to be changed!
I hope that helped you out!

You may have blown a cylinder head gasket... the white smoke typically indicates water in the combustion chamber and the loss of power fits with this also...
If the car is difficult to turn over when you start it, this would be an indication as well.

This sounds to me like your timing belt broke. If it is an interference-fit engine, the valve train was most likely damaged. I wish I had better news for you! :(

New Toyota Etios, VD,KM 1100, observed thick white smoke from exaust pipe for @ 1 Min, while running engine on ideal.

the white smoke occurrence is due to unique Vehicle usageconditions like slow speed & Short trips drivingthe catalytic convertor is not able reach its optimum reactiontemperature. As a result, the Hydrocarbon accumulates in the Catalytic Converter. After sometime, once the saturation limit is attained, the accumulated Hydrocarbon
starts burning inside the Catalytic Converter. During this Chemical Reaction,Momentarily the white smoke is seen in the exhaust and is normal

White smoke out exaust pipe and stalling

Any time there is white smoke coming out of your car's exhaust system, it is an indication of a leak. but a leak that is allowing either oil, coolant, or transmission fluid to get into the cylinders. The smoke is from the leaking substance not getting completely burned off like the air and fuel mixture does under normal operating conditions. pull the oil dipstick and see if you have traces of coolant in oil. if so you have either a bad manifold gasket or a head gasket went bad. good-day !

2004 Jeep Liberty it pasing oil an prestone that just apend onse

is it leaking, or burning in the combustion chamber? Comming out the tail pipe? Blue smoke is oil, white smoke is water, black smoke is carbon. Smell your exaust; smell like "prestone"? Does the engine over heat? My guess would be a bad head gasket. Is the oil a light brown color?

Either your valve seals are bad or you piston rings are wore out. I would say it is the valve seals though.
