Question about Buick Century
If that weird problem appeared only after you installed a brand new pump (which i suppose is the correct one for your car) then the problem is in the rubber connectors that connect the pump to the fuel line - they are frayed inside and the loose parts have blocked the flow.
Replace all rubber parts from the fuel line and blow air at high pressure on the lines to expel the loose rubber residues.
BTW the the pump is an enclosed unit, it can't be serviced.
