Seems a lot od us are having this issue - the suggestion below was given to me - I haven't had a chance to try it so don't know if it will work, but worth a chance!
"IT'S VERY EASY TO RESET THE TRANSMISION'S COMPUTER. HOLD GAS PEDAL DOWN. TURN THE KEY TO THE NUMBER TWO. CONTINUE TO HOLD THE GAS PEDAL DOWN FOR THIRTY SECONDS.RELEASE THE GAS PEDAL AND PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL FOR TEN SECONDS. NOW YOU CAN TURN THE VEHICLE ON. THAT SHOULD TAKE IT OUT OF SAFE MODE "

I have a 2000 Maxima 3.0 and at 35mph it jerks but when i go faster it doesnt jerks! What could that be?

Is that jerking or thumping, as in a bump on a tire. A bad tire will shake (however you wish to describe it) at a moderate speed. It will get better as you go fasted. Then a multiples it will return more as a vibration, less as a bounce.
But do you mean jerk as in misfire? If yes, then I don't know.

1998 model. Why does it jerk sharply on wet surfaces at 50 mph?

Your Neon could be hydroplaning. You may notice the speedometer suddenly starts indicating a higher speed.

You will need to connect the vehicle to the manufacturers software i think for this problem ,although my first suspect is a coil pack or something along these lines but in cases like this i would need to drive the car to get any idea whats wrong

Speedometor is going 50mph in a 35mph zone and 90to100 in a 55mph in my 2004buick lesabre .help me thank you

your speed sensor is bad the housing for the sensor and sensor tend to go bad after a while(old car) but have you triend with another cluster, instrument panel? what you describe seems more likely to be the speed sensor at the transmission.

2007 JGC 5.7 Hemi hesitates to accelerate when the vehicle is at cruising speeds above 35mph. When it is at a constatnt speed and the throttle is at a fixed position it feels a bit jerky as well.

I suspect TPS (Throttle Positioning Switch) they're basically a rheostat that controls throttle movement. After a while, spots that get most used develop "Hot Spots" - and will cause a surge or hesitation when at that location. Replace TPS.

Time to go get it diagnosed. Could be a tunup issue or cranks sensor or fuel pump. You most likely have a code stored to help diagnosing
