Question about 1997 Nissan Maxima

1 Answer

Got a 1997 nissan maxima and I was driving and all of a sudden it shook under the right front tire section as though I ran over something, so I went on to the stop light ahead and just as I pulled away it shook like crazy and then it just came too a dead stop. I can start the car, but as soon as I put it in any gear it starts shaking all crazy.

Not in the trunk? Not under the spare tire? Somewhere in the last 14 years you may have lost it.

I have a Nissan Maxima Problem with the Nissan Maxima 1997 Maxima I have a Nissan Maxima 1997 model the tyres size are P205/65R15. My question is Would Kumho 352 with rims diameter "16 fits on them?

If your wheels are 15" (you said they are) you cannot put a 16" tire on those wheels.
If the 16" ones are on wheels you need to physically check for proper clearance and offset so that they don't interfere with suspension or body parts. If the tire height on the new tires is higher than the originals it will put additional stress on the driveline and could cause problems. (it adversely affects the mechanical advantage you get from the differential gears)

Car: Nissan Maxima SE 1997 tachometer broken

the dash voltage egulator probably went bad. First, check the battery & make sure you have 12 volts, not running. Check it again running & you should see about 14.5 volts. If that's good,I'd replace the guage assembly.

97 maxima rough idling

Check the tension pulley. It has an adjustment on top to set belt tension. On mine the bushing in the pulley went bad and made a rough rubbing sound. I replaced the entire unit as an assembly. Noise went away.
