My Mazda 6 remote control will not reset . Everything works with the key (windows and doors). The remote has new batteries . A Mazda technisian has looked at the car,but is baffeled as to why the remo

Well I assume you disconnected the battery to the car when repairing the switch..which is electronic. Mazda systems have to be reprogrammed after power interruptions or the whole system goes crazy. There is a weird sequence of ignition turns and door closures that is required in the program sequence. You will have to try to look it up or have a dealership give or do the sequence for you.

How do I replace the battery on a key remote for a Mazda cx9 year 2012

Flip open key. With small tweezers, file, or jewellers screwdriver, depress release button found in key-slot (near the end of the fob with the key on it. Pull two halves of fob apart. Separate the remaining fob in half again (the part without the key) by prying in the slot on the open end. Replace battery. Reassemble.

Dors lock and unlock on their own

Batteries may need changing in your key or maybe there is interference from a nearby source, remote control model air craft, if unresolved, have your code changed at dealership.

My remote for my mazda 6 is not working and i need to replace it

Hi there, I have 04 mazda 6 also. this problem happened to me. I have electrical experiance so opened up the remote on the key ring. What I found was the small microswitch had liberated from the circuit board. The microswitch is about 4 by 6mm rectangle. I mounted cuircit board in vice and soldered (carefully) the switch back to the board. This worked perfectly. Any electrcian or appliance repair person could do this. The mazda dealer here wanted $300 to replace remote. I hope this helps. PS Check the remote batteries first.

Program remote control for mazda mpv 2002

Try this, it works on several 2002 models:

Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open.

Step 2: Lock and unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch on the door.

Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.

Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.

Step 5: Open and close the drivers door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).

Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.

Step 7: Press any button on remote #1. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.

Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors.

Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done
