Can I go without the catalytic converter on my 04 pontiac grand price gt

Legally speaking, no. It is against federal law to remove it.
From a performance standpoint, not having the cat in place will cause the check engine light to stay on, and that will have a negative effect on engine performance.

Changed catyletic converter new one glows red what could be problem?

Glowing red catalytic converter means your car is injecting too much gas, more than the spark plugs can burn up efficiently in the cylinders, or you have a serious misfire, so multiple cylinders are sending unburnt fuel into the exhaust system, where it will ignite inside the catalytic converter due to high heat. find the cause of excessive amount of unburnt fuel getting into the exhaust system. don't run it like that too much or it will ruin your new cat. quickly if it is glowing red... incorrect timing of engine, severe engine misfire, possible causes.

might be caused by a fault in ignition system coil wires cam or crank sensor but make sure to check exhaust catyletic converter and fuel filter

Was running great then it just would not start and when it did it started idling fast now the exaust will glow red

if engine is running without missfire check catyletic converter for plugging also very rich running will cause exhaust to glow but will cause alot of black smoke from tail pipe I dont reccomend driving vehicle till exhaust or rich running is fixed can lead to engine failure

My engine light flashed on and off for a few moments, what could be the problem. Dodge Stratus 2005

A constantly flashing check engine light means you have a bad misfire or something wrong that could damage the catyletic converter.

My 91 F250 5.8L starts, runs for a few seconds, lets a greyish black(not blue or white) smoke out of the exhaust, then dies.

It sounds like the catyletic converter might be plugged. I had a Chevy Suburban a while back that did the same thing, no check engine light. To figure it out, I took the exhaust pipes lose at the manifolds. It started right up and ran fine but noisy, there are aftermarket converters available from most auto parts stores.

Changing catylets

khalifayu Im sorry I do not know what a catylet is.
However if you are talking about a Catalytic converter, it is located in your exhaust between your exhausst manifold and your muffler it usually bolts into the exhaust via three or four bolts on each side and is usually rusted and covered by bolt on heat shields. Hope this helps!

Stumbling at cruising speed on highway

My 99 had the same problem and my mechanic found that the honeycomb in the catyletic converter had broken loose and was lodged at the opening of the pipe sideways, limiting the exhast flow. Once I replaced the catyletic converter the problem was solved.
