Only way that can happen is if the crank case vent is blocked or, if you have a broken or excessively worn ring on one of the pistons. (you will find oil on the corresponding spark plug electrode in most cases) After cleaning up the vent, remove the oil fill cap while the engine is running. You should have little or no pressure there if you put your hand over the opening, and definitely no smoke coming out of there.

Oil leaking into carb

Oil in the air filter is usually caused by blowby which is oil blowing past the cylinder rings, or a PCV valve that is not working correctly. The crankcase has too much pressure and oil is escaping out to the air filter where the crankcase is supposed to get fresh air from.
If the PCV valve and hose are ok, you may need another engine at some point. The rings and-or cylinders may have excessive wear.

if your getting oil in the air filter area, you have a leaking intake gasket or a leaking head gasket, run a compression test on it,
if the compression is where it should be on all cylinders then its a leaking intake gasket!!!

How do i get the oil filter off a 1993 s10 chevy blazer, it is located driver side behind the head light and next to the oil filter,it says to remove the air filter and i cant figure this out

Slip an oil filter wrench over the oil filter and remove counter clockwise. You dont need to remove the air filter. there is enough room.

Oil in carburator in a 4 cylinder motor

Check pcv valve and vacuum hose to make sure they are working. Chances are that you have a broken or worn ring, or worn engine bearings. (excessive blowby) In which case there's not much short of rebuild or replacement of engine that will cure problem. You could remove the hose that is bringing the oil into the air intake off the air cleaner and route a longer hose into a can or something temporarily but it's not a cure.

Problem with my land rover discovery

its about air filter ,

open your filter air & oil both than clean your air filter than try to change your engine or transmision oils also,

black smoke indicates that your engine can't get more fresh air for serial or parellel combustions,

its easy to solve.

try itwith care.no risk is there
