I am looking for a power steering gear rebuld kit for a 1999 Ford ranger with a 4 cylinder engine. Can you assist?

You may be much happier with purchasing a rebuilt unit, typically there are many pieces that cannot be changed without special tools.

if you are sure the high beams are not defective you will need to replace the high beam switch on the steering column which is part of the turn signal and wiper switch.

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger 2.5 L 4x2 and after i start the truck there is a slight hum and it gets louder when u speed up the rpms, it also gets really loud when i turn the steering wheel so i replaced the...

Ford Saginaw pumps are notoriously noisy power steering pumps. I have not had any that were not noisy. This is especially true when turning the steering wheel without the vehicle in motion.

It sounds like you may have a bearing race out of spec in your front hub assembly. Check for bearing play by pulling with your hands on each tire--if there is a clunking noise---replace the bearing.

Power steering went out on 1996 ford ranger what is problem?

The problem could be anything from a power steering hose has leaked out all the power steering fluid or the steering rack could be leaking fluid. Has the car made any strange noises when turning the steering wheel? A car that is loosing power steering fluid will at some point lose so much fluid as to make the power steering pump cavitate (starve for fluid) and the pump will make a high pitched noise when it has too little fluid in it. I can't remember if the 1996 ranger had only one belt on the engine or if the power steering has it own seperate belt. The belt being gone would prevent the power steering from working but if you only have one belt the car would also overheat.

Where is the power steering sensor located on a 1993 ford ranger 4.0 super cab? (or is it called the power steering pressure switch?)

The power steering pressure switch as its called threads in to the power steering pressure hose most of the time it is close to the power steering pump, I have also seen them at the lower point of the pressure hose close to the rack and pinion.
