Different causes can do that, the most obvious being the relay for the clutch on the a/c compressor.  To find which part is at fault you must go by exclusion: find out if power is coming to the clutch; if no test the relay; if the relay is good check the fuse; if the fuse is good check the command panel
If the fault is in the panel then you must either replace it completely or take it to a specialist, it might fix it for a smaller fee..

I have a 2002 pt cruiser that is blowing the ac 10amp fuse repeatedly. I mean within minutes of changing it. Also the ac is only blowing hot air. Can someone please help.

An AC system blowing hot air is usually due to a low freon charge or a non operational AC compressor. If the fuse blows, disconnect the compressor electrical plug and turn on the AC. If the fuse doesn't blow, suspect a compressor problem. If the fuse continues to blow with the compressor disconnected, there is a direct short between the ON/OFF switch and the compressor which can take hours to diagnose

My 2007 Hyundai santa Ac stop blowing cold so I

You have blown a fuse ,if its got gas and the compressor isnt coming on ,then you could have the electric clutch faulty ,they do pack up and can often be changed on the vehicle without losing the .test it first by applying a power cable to the + side ,often their are two wires one earth and one feed ,check for power to the connection plug first if power then its the clutch if no power check the fuses ,i have had the wires break on the coil windings of the clutch but test it all out first with a multimeter

1995 Buick Century blowing hot air.

A mechanic would check the system with a set of pressure gauges. If the compressor is running, the low side would read around 30psi and the high side would be around 250psi. That is how you know if the system is full of freon or not.
You may have to get a professional diagnosis to proceed. If you replace the compressor, the accumulator needs to be replaced and a vac pump is used to pull all of the air out before the freon is added.

2007 Ford Edge air condition is blowing out hot heat does it need freon or what?

Yes it sounds like charging ac system will fix your problem. It has to be leaking if this is the problem and you should have sealant injected into the system also. Go to nearest auto zone, they will fix you up with nwhat you need

My ac system is blowing hot air, how can i fix it?

You need to know how an ac system works to make repairs.
It could be an electrical problem, low on freon, or a mechanical problem with the compressor.
A mechanic would check for power to the compressor and the freon charge with a gauge set.
Freon is minus 30 degrees coming out of the can.

2001 Dodge Stratus AC goes on and off?

Check the fuse for a/c compressor make sure it is completely pushed in slot then check wiring going to the high and low pressure switchs also if you have electric fans on radiator make sure it comes on when you turn on the a/c that would most likely be the cause of intermittent a/c issue also check plug on compressor if it was a lack of freon it wouldn't work at all

My A/C compressor shuts off after an hour (sometimes longer) of driving on a hot day.

I would get it checked by another mechanic shop, I suggest a complete AC service with freon, oil and dye every 5 years... The oil keep the compressor lubricated.... Also, there is always a 10-15% tolerance level in freon amount to be filled in. Auto compressor shut off is a built in safety feature that kicks in when pressure is too high in the system..... If you are in OC,Socal, let me know

Air condition blows hot air but it has freon

You may have created an over charged condition and at this point the a/c compressor will cut off on high head pressures. This can be verified by installing gauges to the systems high and low side service taps and reading the pressures. An overcharged system will start the compressor briefly but soon cuts off once pressure goes to 350 - 400 lbs on the high side. Acceptable pressures for this system should be no greater than 250 high and low suction should drop to 40-50 psi.You might recover the charge and evacuate the system, then try bringing the charge back to proper level.A sight glass in the reciever drier really helps determining proper fill.Once all bubbles have dissipated from the sight glass during charging ,one should stop at that point to avoid overfilling.Too much freon is worse than a low charge especially in hot ambient conditions....

2003 COROLLA S AIR CONDITIONER BLOWS HOT AIR.5 DAYS AGO MECHANIC "CLEANED LINES AND PUT IN FREON" FOR $135.00. STILL BLOWING HOT AIR.

If it blew cold air after freon added and 5 days later blew warm, you may have a leak in the system. Also check and see if compressor comes on if not you may have an electrical issue, relay for compressor, coil on compressor, etc.......
