The pulse board is located on the wiper motor. It usually has 3-4 screws on it and the female connector for the plug. Remove the screws and it lifts right up. Then remove the plug.

Change the wiper motor, and you replace the pulse board.. You can not buy the board separate from the motor.

The only way to shut off the windshield wipers on 98 Saturn SL 2 is to pull the fuse.

Most likely is a bad circuit board on the wiper motor, Pull circuit board off and look for a burnt place, part is availiable from saturn.

I have a 1998 oldsmobile bravada and my windshield wipers stopped working. also when i stop and pulled off seems like it wants to cutoff like it putts when i pull off

MOST G.M VEHICLES WIPER PROBLEMS ARE CAUSED BY A WIPER CIRCUIT BOARD, OR PULSE MODULE. THE BRAVADA NEEDS THE CIRCUIT BOARD, IF THAT IS THE PROBLEM, IT IS A DEALER ITEM, YOU MAY BE ABLE TO CHANGE IT YOURSELF.

Windshield wipers will not turn off - 2003 Chevrolet Silverado

Fixed the wiper problem which was identical to Brad's by changing out the wiper module which is also called a pulse module or something of that nature. Pretty easy fix. You have to remove the grill that the wiper blades protrudes from in order to get to the motor (4 clips in front which can be removed by hand, remove radio antenna, a center push down retainer, two plastic end caps which pop off and then 1 star type screw on each end under the end caps). Getting the blades off seemed difficult. I used a small puller to pop them off after removing the nuts.

You can't buy this module at a regular parts store. I had to get it from the dealer so be prepared to spend $130 to $140 for the part or go to the salvage yard. Works great now.
