Check the actual bulb. Often one light is burned out, and the driver will not notice it...then the 2nd one goes out...I bet you have a bulb issue and not power to the bulbs. Test it with a test light.

2006 Envoy XL low beam headlights will not come on at all. Went to Auto Zone and change the bulbs...still will not come on. Two weeks ago Pep Boys put in a new ignition stating the original one had sign...

CHECK INSIDE YOUR FUSE BOX (USUALLY LOCATED UNDER THE HOOD). LOOK FOR THE RELAYS THAT CONTROL THE HEADLAMPS. TRY TO CHANGE PLACES WITH THE ONE'S THAT THE NUMBER MATCHES. GENERAL MOTORS SEEMS TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THESE. THE LOCATOR PICTURE WILL BE INSIDE THE LID COVERING THE FUSE PANEL BOX.

2004 envoy xuv low beams dont work switched fuses 45 and 46 still nothing any ideas

Other possibilities are; the bulbs themselves, burnt or corroded bulb sockets, or a bad headlight selector switch.

Low beams dont turn on........... bulbs check ok...................fuses under hood ok.............need help

{: ) I wonder how you checked the fuses and the bulbs. Did you check also the HDM fuse 15amp and the HDM relay both at the underhood fuseblock? Turn on the low beam and check for 12v at the LO beam fuses. If there is voltage at the fuses but the low beam ok bulbs won't light, then there's a wiring issue from your fuseblock going to the bulbs.
But if no voltages on the LO fuses when the low beam is switched on, then the problem could be on the HDM fuse or relay, the headlamp switch, the BCM, or even the fuseblock.

Both running/low beam lights went out at same time.

it is possible to blow both low beam fillements but unlikely i would be more inclined to check your fuses and power at the relay if they are both ok it will be the combination switch on the steering column , you will have a open circuit at the low beam switch in the combination switch assembly.regards agwbk

Did you check your bulbs? Both high and low will be in the same bulb. It is possible that thats all it needs

Headlights went out. Replaced bulbs and switch and still lights don't work. Fog lights and high beams work? What else can work?

If high beams work and low beams do not, then it is probably the high/low relay. It is part number 15016745 and has four prongs. To test if your relay has gone bad locate the relay in your fuse box. There will be two of these relays located next to each other. One controls the low beam headlights and the other the cooling fan. Swap the relays and check your low beam headlights. If the low beams work you have a bad relay.
