Question about 2004 Buick Rainier

1 Answer

2004 Buick Rainier has shuddering and grinding sound when backing. Started after recent alignment (shop said they had problems with aligning, I heard them beating on something). A leak under the front end also started at this time.

Take it back and ask them to see what has gone wrong .its down to their mishandling ,steering should never need re aligning unless the ball joints are worn causing it ,do you have a annual vehicle mechanical inspection in your area?? lights brakes emmisions and inspection over a pit with metals plates shaking the suspension ??,also conformity to the certificate of homoglonation ??

2004 GMC Sierra, when backing, if I apply the brake it feels like my left wheel shudders. The left front tire is also wearing on the inside. What part is causng this?

Several things could cause it, from bad wheel bearings to worn ball joints...
Get your alignment checked. While they're doing it, a good shop will tell you if anything needs replacing to keep alignment true. Be sure and tell them about the brakes causing a shudder. It may be related, or your brakes might need attention. Good luck.

2004 Buick Rainier front bumper cover popped loose (due to catching on snow from recent storm). How to I reconnect the sides of the bumper cover? (it is still attached in the center at the license plate)

youll have to kake sure that the fasteners are still in good condition if so pull the bumper around to where it should be and align the fasteners or the screws .if its fasteners youll have to push the fasteners into the slot on the bumper if its screws youll have to retighten them so that they are snug. happy motoring.

Passenger seat won't go back

I have had the same problem. It occurs when you take the key out of the ignition to fast. Sounds stupid but if you turn the engine off and slow down the extraction of the key the seat will move as it should. I was turning off and taking the key out fast and the seat would not retract. Slowed everything down and now it works. Hope this works for you.
