Question about 2002 Honda Civic
You are going to have to find out what the DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) is that is causing the CEL to turn on. If you do not have a code reader, or know someone who does, you might want to consider getting one if you are going to be keeping your Civic for any length of time. There are some places that will read the code for free (I think AAMCO will do it for free).
Once you get the code, you will know exactly what the malfunction is and you'll be able to address it directly.
