Question about 2002 Buick Century
This system uses a cable driven mechanism. If the motor is still working, the cable has broken or become dislodged from the gear assembly. Either way, once this happens, it is almost impossible to get the correct function back either due to kinks in the cable or incorrect winding, etc. The easiest and most cost efficient thing to do is to either purchase new(aftermarket autoparts stores will carry this cheaper than the dealer) or call a local salvage yard in your area. Let me know if you need instructions and diagrams.
