How do i repair a leaking power sterring unit

I am unsure whether you mean the pump, or the steering rack. Which ever it is, both are made of high precision parts which require several special tools for repair. It is common practice to replace a faulty unit with a new or reconditioned exchange one. For a safety critical unit like this, I would recommend doing that.

If you want more info, see here. It is for an earlier model, but very similar.

How to fix power sterring malfuction?

If it sounds like its whining as the car is running it just needs fluid, or there maybe a leak, look under car on the ground to see if there is a new puddle of oil if so its leaking, that could be a bad hose or a bad pump.

Leaking either trans or power steer fluid. 1 or 2 drops per day under left front area

it sounds like power sterring, check level of fluid, inspect around pulley, if it is wet or oily looking, the seal is going bad, you can put some power sterring stop leak in it, it will buy you some time until you can change the pump

Power sterring hose leaks. how is hose connected to pump

Most of the PS pressure hoses are Compression Fittings. If the fitting is straight on and is clean on the inside before you seated the hose, there may be a burr of the pump side where the fitting sits. Some of these fittings are replaceable and others require a new pump. Check your new hose also for cracks where the pipe section of the hose is that looks sort of like a trumpet end. If the fitting is in good shape, the pump fitting is clean and unmarred, you may need to tighten the hose a little more.

Power sterring control valve leak

the principle of that stop leak is that it swells up the rubber on seals.... once the seals wear again it won't work as well... but if there is a seal on that adjustment nut it will work....

Power sterring pump?

If you have checked the belt (it still has one that is) the grinding noise will be the pump but the loss of fluid could also be the steering rack at fault, try to find out where its leaking from
