I wanted to listen to a cd one morning and didnt know there was one already in the cd player. I pushed the cd in and as it resisted i pushed harder. It made a loud noise and the second cd came out but the first cd wont budge. I have pressed the eject button numerous times trying to dislodge it to no avail. I even tried inserting another cd to jar it out but it is stuck and wont budge.

As the interior transport mechanism is plastic,you would be better off buying a new unit,the cost of repair is stupid.and unless you are an electronic genius,not worth repairing.

you may need to enter the radio code, if you do not have it you need to bring the registration to the dealer and they can call and get it for you. The radio locks so if it stolen it is useless.
If you gently push another cd in the cd player (not all the way but most of the way) it will either eject the cd or with your other hand hit the eject button and the other cd should come out. Mine did this but unfortunately it will not load cd's now so I don't if that made it worse or if it was already going downhill :(
This is common problem with CD players. Try to clean the Lens first by using CD cleaner. If same issue will happen after cleaning. You need to bring the unit to an electrician and have it opened and have the Lens adjusted.
push and twist bulbs have little noches one on each side. if un sure ask autoparts store for bulbs for dash and you can see what they look like. and pull fuses .they sometimes look good ,but check anyway.
Try spraying a little lubricant in there, if you haven't tried already, like silicone spray. Make sure you push hard into park & press brake pedal harder as well, and wiggle steering wheel hard.
i own a 2005 mazda 3 with 6 CD and you should be able to push the load button the player will scroll through what is in the player and then start flashing a # where it is going to put the new CD, this is when you can load,But if your player is already full it will not allow you to add anymore without ejecting one
well on mine, I have to turn off the sat. radio before the kids can watch dvd and I can only listen to radio or cd while they watching dvd. I don't even know if you are able to listen to dvd through them speakers, because it came with headsets. I know I am not big help, but I think you have to change something on the front radio. If nobody else can answer your question, than I will look tomorrow to see how I turn on my dvd player and tell you what I have to push.
you can try the paper clip in the pin hole all cd players come with manual eject push straight paper clip in cd pin hole this can release the cd
or use old cd gently push in on the other cd to help un jam that cd
