1992 mitsubishi eclipse wont go faster than 25 miles per hour

If this is an automatic, I'd suspect a transmission failure of some sort.

If a manual 5-spd, or the engine just won't rev, then there are several possibilities:
1. a fuel problem (fuel pump?)
2. the timing belt has slipped and the valve timing is way off.

Could be the front or rear brakes have jammed. Are any of the brakes getting VERY hot as you drive?

Where is the fuel pump relay at on my 2002 eclipse? car will start and run good till you turn it off and try to restart it and wont start.... or will start and run 2 seconds and die.... fuel pump? relay?

relay is the problem if it dies in seconds after starting. Mitsubishi will show you exactly were it is if no body else does. Sorry I do not work on this model although all cars have a fuel pump relay and operates the same way

After my 1992 eclipse warms up and i go to put into gear it dies why is that

Very likely a bad TPS (throttle position sensor). This determines the idling speed under all conditions. If it malfunctions, it would cause your problem where it's not idling fast enough when warm to keep car from stalling.

I have a 96 eclipse.that was overfilled w/oil new sparkplugs and wires, air filter, and oil changed.now it runs fine for about a mile then it acts like it is running out of gas and dies.wait bout 5min...

check your distributor cap to make sure no oil got in there also check your fuel pressure regulator to see if its a normal pressure any shop can tell you what it should be so just call and ask the fuel pressure tester is about 45 dollars at autozone

95 ecilpse. driving down the road and the car just dies. Then wont start for 5 to 30 mins.

have you checked the fuel filter most people will forget to get the filter changed and it will get plugged eventually and starve the engine of fuel.the 2 easiest things to start checking are fuel if lots of fuel check spark.
