How do you get the dash brake light off after the brake job is done on a 04 buick lasabre

Double check your brake fluid level. Having low fluid will turn the light on and some people forget to double check the fluid level after the job is done. Double check the parking brake because having it barely pressed will cause the light to come on.

1992 GMC break lights wouldn't work but tail lights, blinkers were. So I checked fuses and it must have been loose because they started working then went to start it, there was split second of power...

any half *** wiring job could do a number of things from no lights to no radio if its half *** then its not worth a hoot i would have the trailer brake removed unless you plan on using it then i would have a shop redo it trailer brakes when half *** installed can cause problems i prefer a whole *** job rather then a half *** job any day.

I changed the front brake rotors and pads also the rear cyliners and shoes and bled the rear brakes but not the front because i didnt disconect the front brake lines. So why is my brake pedal so soft? and...

keep bleeding and bleed the front as well the littlest amount of air will keep pedal spongy if the abs came on after doning brakes check the abs lines and connections up front the abs lines sometimes get banged up will doing brake job the abs sensor is the wire that runs from behind the rotor to the fire wall sometimes they get hit knocked into or damaged if wiring looks good have vehicle scanned for code .the code will make it easier to pinpoint what side-- if circuit problem--or if sensor went bad most auto stores offer scanning for free

1994 explorer limited 1) left rear drivers brake line leaking out of sight up high by wheel well and gas tank any pics or diagrams of what the lines look like there(where they connect, bend etc...2) It has...

If it's a rusty brake line that's leaking you'd best replace the whole brake line system (all 4 wheels) for your safety. Fuel lines have the same problem. These are made out of steel and rust fast due
to calcium chloride used on the roads in winter.
Unless you're familiar with routing and installing connectors on these lines I suggest you let a pro do the job. It ain't as easy as it looks.

Are there any special tools required to change the front brakes on a 2003 Honda civic dc

Not really, that job is pretty easy, I would suggest a clamp though, after you pull the caliper off, to push the piston back down so you can get the new pads in. And have your rotors checked and re-surfaced or replace if necessary. This can be done at some auto parts stores very reasonably. Take the lid off the master cylinder reservoir before you apply pressure to the clamp so the fluid level can spill out if necessary. Keep all your parts clean and do not remove the brake line unless you are going to bleed your brakes also. If you are mechanically adept this whole job will take less than two hours. take care and good luck.

When ball joints and tie rods are replaced do they have to take off the brake lines to do this

Removing the brake lines is not a necessity but doing so lessens the chance of these parts being damaged during the repairs. It also makes doing the job a bit easier not having to wrestle with something connected to it. I have done the job without unhooking the lines myself, but I guess it depends on who is doing the work.

Abs and t/c lights are on have had full break job done both front and back wheel sensors are working but when coming to a slow stop I feel the car start to grind like if it needed breaks I can feel this...

When there is such a feeling, it is the brakes that needs total replacement.

Also you might have to check the master brakes for any leaks. And you need to check the bushing rubbers on the steering rack too.

Be careful and fix this on time.

Brake job

A brake job is something that is done properly and I've seen so many bad brake jobs in my time. I know it is rather expensive to get a brake job done but to do it yourself one has to be very carefull that it is done right. New rotors are about 30 dollars each and then there are the seals and rotors that have to be serviced properly. Needlessly to do the whole brake job would be quite a job for you if you haven't done it before.
