My 1989 mazda 323, 4 cylinder, 1.6 is overheating. I change the thermostat and where the sensor wire hooked to the thermostat housing, it was turning. The fan comes on after the car has overheated.

The in radiator temp switch gas malfunctioned and needs replaced. It's at the wire from the fan to the switch wherever it is mounted in the radiator.

I can't find the radiator cooling fan sensor

if the sensor is for the car and the correct temp more than likely the car is not hot enough to turn on the switch , hence fan.

the fan works, if you bypass switch..
