1999 dodge stratus heater not blowing hot air

2.7 liter? Check the coolant level. If its low check the water outlet housing on the top of the engine in the middle on the passenger side. If is full of red crusty looking stuff than it needs to be replaced. The first thing that will stop working if the coolant gets low e ought is the heat.

How to remove coolant tubes 2002 stratus 2.4

Hi there,

Firstly, disconnect the negative battery cable before draining the cooling system into a suitable container. Then reposition the hose clamp from water inlet pipe. Remove radiator outlet hose from water inlet pipe. Also, reposition the hose clamp from radiator. Finally, remove the radiator outlet hose from radiator and vehicle. To re-install another one, simply reverse the procedure.

Hope this helps...

Where is the coolant outlet valve on an 05 dodge stratus sedan?

2005 Dodge Stratus, don't have one, the only way to drain radiator, is to remove lower radiator coolant hose, I know just did a timing belt and water pump on one, getting ready to go home, hope this was very helpful.

Type of coolant for 05 stratus sxt

Any standard antifreeze coolant will work. If you live in the lower Midwest USA as I do, you can actually mix regular antifreeze 50/50 with water and you run no risk of it freezing. Detailed mixing instructions should be available on most antifreeze containers.
Best of luck.

2005 Dodge Stratus Coolant Outlet Flange

The water outlet housing if installed properly, shouldn't leak. The only way to build up too much pressure would be for the thermostat to be stuck closed. I would find out where the leak is coming from before I went any further. Use the bleeder screw in the housing to bleed the air out of the system.
