Note: Do not confuse Dash warning light A/T with the A/T switch, they are not connected. That warning light indicates the Auto Transmission fluid is overheating.

AT switch

Normal Mode: - Central position, no warning light showing on dash - Used for a normal, economical, quiet and smooth drive.

Power Mode: - PWR showing on dash (usually off) - Used for faster acceleration, by forcing the engine into a higher RPM mode before gears are changed up.

Hold Mode: - Hold showing on dash (usually off) - For use when moving off, from stationary, on snow or slippery road surfaces. When the gear selector is placed in 'D' position, the vehicle is forced to take off in 2nd gear rather than 1st, to make starting easier, then go into normal mode. This saves having to have the gear selector in 2 then move into D after you get going. It also restrict the maximum revs of the engine to 3000rpm (approx). Note: The Delica Manual states:- "low revs, when under high load will generate more heat in the gearbox. You can flip the A/T switch to any mode whilst driving without taking the vehicle out of gear.

Good Luck!!

My ONSTAR module did not work from factory. Module was replaced. Then antenna code B2470-04 came up when diag performed. Dealer replaced antenna. Code still comes up

I don't blame you for not wanting the dash pulled actually. Does the OnStar indicator light, next to or around the area of the blue button you would normally push to contact OnStar, show green and blink when you push the blue button or is it red and or blinking at all times.
There are several bulletins related to the problem but I need to know what the indicator is doing.
Make certain the dealer has performed Document ID: 3975755 before any major disassembly.

I have a toyota 2000rav4 the problem is since it has automatic transmission it seems to be lacking power but still does fine in acceleration when ever running on long plain distance have trouble climbing

Well sorry to tell you but all Rav 4s have bad fuel comp and the auto matic gearboxes will not run in top gear untill the temp gauge reaches approx 28 deg as it is programed that way and some times will stay in 3rd gear once it changed down to 3rd from top, but if it gets into top {2400 rpm } 75 kph
due to the 4wheel drive.
But due to haw many KMor Miles it has done and how its been serviced as the auto gear boxes do have problems and can give the same problems pulling up hills, but its due to the Auto box But make sure the O/D button (over/drive) is off and dash light will come on the dash.

How do I get the maintainance required light off

Turn the key off, hold down the odo button on the dash, turn the key on and keep holding the odo button for about 7 seconds. The display screen on the dash will start to flash, release the button and press it down again and keep holding it until the display stops blinking. All done.

My 2004 Rx330 is showing maintenance required at 65,500 miles. I purchased the car used at 39,000 miles all I have done is changed the oil every 5,000 miles. What do you think the maintenance requirement...

a major service is due at 60000 miles. the light is just a reminder that maintenance is due. is it the message on the nav screen or the one on the dash cluster? if you want to turn it of, hold the trip/od button in while turning the ignition on, keep your foot off the brake, dont start the car. you will see dashes flashing where the od shows miles, hold until its done flashing. and the lite on the dash cluster will go out. it will come back on after 5000 miles. you can go online to to review what the services are and what they involve.
