which engine?
1liter? TBI? or the larger MPI?
what year, are we to guess that too?

also fuel pressure on MPI is 3 numbers not just 1.
key on pressure.
and full throttle.
The TBI is based on Altitude.

What is the schematic for the Ignition LX931 Module on a 4.0 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo

the French Renix EFI system. from H3LL.
1989 changed from TBI to MPI injection, Renix.
1991 , you get real Chrysler EFI.
that is the history (rapid extreme changes then)
its unique too. from all other years, made.
as you can see the ECU fires the spark module.
so if the ECU sees errors. like lack of cmp signals it cuts spark
only the DRB scan tool can see this class failure.

the drawing is marked wrong, it dont match TBI Renix at all.
only yours it matches.

89 Jeep Comanche cranks, but has no spark

no spark to all 6 cylinders, or just 2 ????????????????????????
did you check all fuses first??????????
did you check that the CEL lamp glows, key on? MIL lamp?
if not? the main is dead, or fuse dead.(blown)
ok this is the very very old and obscure Jeep Bendix/Renix system.
the hard part is , it is NOT OBD1 engine yet, making diagnosis very hard. and no distributor. (new for MPI)

is yours the 4.0 I-6
and is it the 1 year, MPI engine? WITH MAF SENSOR!!
this is and AIR DENSITY SYSTEM unlike most other jeeps.
1989 - Changed to Renix MPFI. (read 4 injectors now>....)
i owned a 88 Comanche, love it. 200,k miles i drove from 0
other that ISC motor, zero issues. mine was TBI , no MAF.
NO spark.,?
this MPI has a coil pack with 3 coils in side, and uses the famous.
wasted spark design, even my new jeep v6 has this.
the coil is driven by a separate ICM , ignition control module.
The ICM, iis driven by the PCM(ECU)

your car has a CKP sensor (crank) fitted to the BELL
for the 3 marks, on the flywheel
quote FSM.
The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) is secured by special shouldered bolts to the flywheel/drive plate housing. It is preset in its mounting at the factory and is non-adjustable in the field.
this means it tunes like a marconi radio, its not a hall sensor...!!!
its just a coil with weak outputs.
is it loose?
id do not know where the CAm CMP sensor is.
the online books mix 5 systems bad, this engine was EFI was
a one year only system. (French)
My wild guess is the CMP is this funny device, on the right
side of engine, where the DIZZY USED to be. called the cam sensor.
that too, must work and i think its a hall sensor and is very easy to test.
sadly no OBD1 and no CEL: flash codes.
to blink out, CMP/CKP dead. cranking
just very old factory scan tool works

again, all spark dead or only 2?

1995 chevy tahoe: injectors are not getting power. Fuel is getting to the injectors

in general: Injector power loss)
bad fuse.
bad conn. or wires
bad relay?
alldata dot com has the drawings. (for each of 4 engines and MPI and TBI)

TBI, ? MPI], not diesel option , Gasoline.
3 engines in 95, gas, 4.3,5.7, 7.4?
wiring can in fact vary by engine type.

Gas over flow on Suzuki Sidekick 1995

Could be a leaking fuel injector or faulty pressure regulator.
I would unplug the injectors first and see if the flooding stops.
You may have to test each injector to find the defective one.

Does a geo tracker have a hot and ground injecter wire

no. the TBI works unique.
it has a driven ground and driven hot,
unlike any 1992 tracker with MPI engine 4 injectors.

if the NOID lamp test fails. the ECU is bad if the fuses IG-coil are good , "FI"f fuse, good, and no DTC errors?
and ground to the TPS is not cut.

1990 chrysler new yorker salon: Can u get to the fuel pump from the trunk of the new yorker or does the tank need to be dropped?


You have to remove the tank to replace the in tank fuel pump
on both the TBI and MPI engines .
