usually replacing the engine temperature sensor fixes that code. Check the wire for voltage with the key on. No voltage, fix that wire first.

My 2012 Kia Forte won't start but cash lights up and clicks when trying to start it. I got two error codes po117 and po000 and don't know what they mean or what to do to fix it. Somebody please help

PO117 refers to the coolant sensor. This should not cause the vehicle to not start/click. Make sure battery is fully charged. Maybe even try a boost. If the starter just clicks when the key is turned it may be getting bad. You can try tapping on the starter motor with a blunt object while holding the key in the crank position to see if it may start

Check po117 scion tc

The code means there is a problem with the coolant temp sensor, or the thermostat. The sensor is telling the computer the coolant is cold.
