If the fuses are good the next thing you should check is the relay's, once you locate them pull the relay out and look at the other component relay's in the box and locate a similar relay and swap them then test your light's if they work you know you will need another relay. This is just a free way to test!

If the lights and turn signal is run by the same switch (sticking off of the steering column) i would have to say that the multifunction switch is bad.

I have 89 bronco 2 my brake lights turn signals both work my tail lights don't work have check fuse n blubs what might be the problem

The turn signals and brake lights use the same circuit and filament in the bulbs. The tail lights are on the other circuit which comes from the headlight switch.
Do you have power on the tail light fuse ?

No backup lights

Check the fuses and relays. Could also be a bad ground.

No brake lights, blubs and fuses ok. center brake light DOES work

Usually when the third brake light works but the regular lights don't the problem is in the turn signal switch.
I would check for voltage there.

1998 chevy pickup, passanger side brake and turn signal will not work, all other lights work.

first thing check all fuses, if ok your problem more likely rear tail lens circuit board where your bulbs push into. the sockets over heat and melt . this is a problem with these trucks from 1988 to 1999

Tail lights only work with brakes and turn signals fuses fine, blubs new ???

Your headlight switch may be going bad. Work it while someone watches the tail lights. Anything different lights replace the switch.

I'm trying to replace the tail lights on my motor home which is built on a for econoline chasis (1988) when I took the old ones off a lot of the wires were pulled out of the assembly or just rusted off. ...

Reconnecting a 7 wire circuit.....I presume you have located the rear JUNCTION BOX, or HARNESS splice.... At the lights wiring.
1. YELLOW = LH Turn signal
2. RED= STOP Lights
3. WHITE= Ground
4. BLACK= LH Tail Light/# plate lamp
5. BLUE [If available] Auxiliary Power Supply
6. GREEN= RH Turn signal
7.BROWN=RH Tail Lights
Depending on style you may find that the LH and RH Tail lamp colours are the same.[ie] Both Brown or both Black.
Best of luck in your endevours.
Regards DT
