That depends on which engine it has. it is possibly integrated with the crank sensor which will be on the passenger side of the engine by the lowest pulley for the serpentine belt. Some other motors have them in the hole where the distributor used to be on earlier models.

(1990 buick reatta) I changed my camshaft and TPS and my car still won't stay started.. someone please help the kid out..

Check fuel pressure with a gage. The TPS has to be set correctly to work right. May be a map sensor vacuum problem or crank sensor for a 1990 buick. What do you have as the header is confusing.

2004 Monte Carlo "Trac off" light is on and "service traction system" warning is on and dinging. ABS light is also on. I was given code c1214 and c1226 software EBCM up-date? What is the problem?

The traction control and abs are both activated by the abs sensors located at all four wheels. It is common for those sensors to get covered in brake dust and get false or no signal. Also the wiring connections can become corroded over time. I am not sure what the codes are for but checking the sensors/wiring are where I would start.

No gaurantees, but it most likely needs a crankshaft sensor. That sensor triggers both the spark and the fuel injectors.
