It sounds like it could be in the ignition system itself. on my truck it was doing the same until i replaced the ignition module

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.

Trying to start, engine turns over just fine but will not fire. Therefore, will not start. Sound like the starter??

If your engine is turning over (spinning) when you are trying to start it, it is not your starter. First make sure you are getting fuel and spark to your spark plugs and go from there. There is a fuel pump cutoff switch that can "pop" which is common in Fords but there are is a relay as well if your not getting fuel. If your not get spark then your looking at a whole different matter then. If you need the location of the cutoff switch or relay just post a comment to this solution and I believe they let me know through my email. I will send you that info if you need it as well as some picture as to the locations. i hope this helped and good luck.

I have a ford bronco 2 and the engine turns over and i have spark but the engine wont start and it wont even fire. whats my problem ?

I take it by this the motor turns over but will not fire. At this point I have to take some wild guesses. First off, you say you get power to the coil, is there spark at the plugs? Next point I would look at is if there is fuel accually entering the fuel galley. You say you adjusted the idle before hand. Is it a normally asperated engine or an EFI. If no fuel is present at either of these and the fuel pump is working and spark it present at the plug, you have a fuel problem. Depending on the type of carubation you have it could be the carb, throttle body or TPS sensor.

Won't turn over not even a starter sound changed the starter battery dist cap and rotor ignition coil checked the fusible links by the battery one of which says clutch I am out of ideas

If you hear nothing and the Battery is good. Are you sure the engine isn't seized? You should be able to turn the motor over by hand at the Balancer. There are a lot of systems that may interfere with the starting of the vehicle. The Neutral Safety switch for example will keep the engine from turning over, This is located in the Transmission. The ignition switch going bad or your vehicle alarm system if it is equipped with one. If you have an alarm with anti theft device, engine cutoff, try pulling the fuse from the main power wire on the alarm.

De-activate immobilizer of 98 Toyota Corolla

Simple thing to do is have your coils checked.. You should have spark if they are good.. If you still dont then disconnect battery at least 20 - 25 mins see if it resets ecm and alarm. May begin to work properly again..

1999 Subaru legacy will not start

Check your terminal connections, if they are loose they will need to be inspected for breaks. If they are broken you will need to replace the connection. Make sure they are clean and free of corrosion.

Other possible Problems
If the car wont turn over your starter could be bad.
If it turns over but wont start it could be any number of these problems.
Coil Pack
Plug Wires
Spark Plugs
EBX (Engine Brain Box)
CBX (Chassis Brain Box)
Crank Sensor
Fuel Pump
Fuel Rail
Fuel Injector

Good luck
