Depending on the age of the battery 4 or more years, then losing it's charge within one week or less, is 99% probability caused by internal corrosion due to trace amounts of impurities within the plates. Save your time & money - buy a new battery!!

It wouldn't be a fuse if that's the only light that's not working, I believe all of the parking lights are on the same fuse. It's most likely a bad ground or corrosion inside the socket where the bulb makes the electrical connection. So check the socket to make sure it has no corrosion, if it does, clean it up and apply some dielectric grease (available at any parts store) to prevent future corrosion, and check for a loose or broken ground wire.

You'll need to use the wiring from the 2.0L motor. Your best bet is to get Bentley manuals for the car the motor came from and for yours. They have very very detailed wiring diagrams, to do the swap.
