Check for voltage with a test light at the window motor, while working the switch or key, if the test light lights up, bad window motor, will have to be replace, hope the was very helpful.

My 88 full size Bronco Windows roll up and down without a key stereo plays and all but it's been killing my battery any ideas on fixing this worried it's gonna burn up a cell in my battery or worse.

Sounds like your ignition switch is not cutting off the power when you shut it off. I had a van with a similair problem, you could remove the key in any position and several times I removed the keys in the accessory position and drained the battery.

I have 88 fullsize bronco with 351w and c6 trans, when i start it runs fine till i put it into gear it stalls and won't start till it sits for a while, before this happened my engine temp gauge was jumping...

Check all your grounds. Behind the right cylinder head, on right lower front of block and engine to frame. Also check fuse links at starter solenoid.

I have a 88 bronco and my rear window will not go down. i have tried running a wire from battery to motor for hte rear window and it wont work i just want the window down right now and will replace motor...

take the window regulator out and see if you can manually move it to the down position, if you cannot them try and connect that regulator to another window motor, and get it to the down position that way. then reinstall the regulator and window, good luck

Rear Window Malfunction on my 1993 Eddie Bauer Bronco I have a rear window problem on my 1993 Eddie Bauer Bronco. I rolled my rear window up last night with the rear key switch. Today it will not roll...

The dash switch can affect the operation of the rear key switch. 1st thing to do is replace the dash switch and that will prob fix it all.

I have a 1988 fullsize bronco and one day it wouldn't start

down under the dash on the side of the steering column you will see a ingition switch they go bad, remove the two wire harness they only go back in onw way so dont worry, take the two small screws out remove the rod and take off and put the new one back.align the rod into the new switch place it on the column as if it were hooked up.turn the key at the same time you hold the switch in place and start the truck. after you get it adjusted then put it on and tighten the switch.
