Where is the fuel tank located in a 1991 buick park ave?

Gas tank is located inside of fuel tank. Loosen the two straps on tank and let the tank drop slowely with floor and wood support underneath.(make sure gas is removed so it is not so heavy) Lower tank and remove electrical wire connections and remove filler hose from tank side.Remove tank from car. Tank has round o ring lock on top.Take rubber malet and tap o ring counter clockwise to remove pump assembly replace pump and then use reverse procedre to put tank back.Good luck.

GMC usually puts there fuel filters on the drivers side under the drivers seat area (along the frame) or it will be close to the fuel tank itself.

But in your case I believe that it will be driver side frame area....
