Question about 2001 Saturn L-Series
Remove exhaust system from cat converter back, disconnect fuel lines, disconnect electrical connector remove straps that hold tank up to car remove fuel filler and vent hoses from tank drop tank top of tank remove ring that holds fuel pump assembly in tank. you have to manupliate the assembly out of the tank, its a tight fit, be careful not to break/bend the fuel level sensor. remove fuel lines on top of pump assembly before removing assembly. replace fuel filter also make sure you are careful on reassembly if there is a leak ses light will come on w/evap code (I just done mine (176000 miles)
