OVER FLOW HOSES YOU HAVE THREE HOSES THE 3/4 INCH HOSE CONNECTS TO TO RADIATOR TWO SMALL SURGE HOSES ONE CONNECT TO TOP OF RADIATOR THE SURGE HOSE GOES TO THERMOSTAT HOUSING.

It,s just an overflow,if it on the lid if not check near the radiator cap there is a hose run,s from there to the overflow bottle.

yep connect to radiator.overflow line should run from overflow reservoir to the top of radiator where radiator cap located.radiator filler tube there is a 1/4 nipple where the overflow hose should go.

Coolant leak


Not sure I understand the question, but there should be a small hose from the actual radiator to the overflow tank. Then a small hose from the overflow tank to allow extra coolant to exit.

I have an antifreeze leak at the piece of hose connected to the radiator cap (2005 Dodge Dakota.) What is the piece called and do you have a picture? I think its called a goose neck?.


it is just the overflow hose,you can replace it with regular vacume hose that diameter,but you should replace the radiator cap,its letting off pressure.the hose connects to your overflow bottle

near the radiator cap.  However, this won't make the car overheat.  Have you filled and bled the cooling system?
