Question about Ford Explorer
Something is horribly wrong in the ECM - it most likely has detected a big fault in the wiring and shuts down the engine to protect it. Tow your car to a shop ASAP, there's nothing more you can do; waiting for the fault to fix it by itself will only make it bigger and more expensive.

Hi. I suggest to have your car checked and probably provide us an error code so we can provide you solution for the issue. Based on my experience, wrench light symbol actually tells you that the Harmonic Balancer is starting to fail. I may suggest that you need to have that one checked also.
