My 2003 hyundai tiberon airbag light is on. There seems to be no reason for this. Any suggestions on how to get it off without getting a diagnostic test ran on it?

Unfortunately you need to take it in for service. Only a shop has a scanner to test air bag module and find out what may be wrong. This is a safety thing that you should not ignore.

After I shut the glove conpartment closed kinda hard my airbag light has been on ever since.

SINCE THE SRSCM (SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE) HAS TURNED ON THE AIRBAG LIGHT, THERE IS A DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) STORED IN IT. YOU'LL WANT TO PULL/SCAN THE CODE TO DETERMINE IF IT'S AN 'ACTIVE' OR 'HISTORY' CODE. IF IT'S A HISTORY CODE, JUST EREASE IT AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL GO 'OFF' IF IT'S AN 'ACTIVE' CODE, THE ISSUE WILL NEED TO BE CORRECTED BEFORE THE LIGHT CAN BE TURNED OFF. THE SCAN TOOL NEEDED IS CALLED THE 'HIGH-SCAN PRO' OR THE GDS (GLOBAL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM) USED BY HYUNDAI DEALERSHIPS.

I have a 2003 Hyundai tiberon SE. Recently the

the bulb is not working because the fuse is probably dead. (check by the drivers leg side for the fuse box). Door locks will not work because the alarm system needs to be repaired, or replaced. I donot know what to do with the cruise control. and your seatbelt sensors need to be replaced.

Hyundai 2003 elantra GLS airbag light

A malfunction in the air bag system won't cause any driveability issues. There are many parts to the supplemental restraint system that could put the air bag light on. The computer needs to be scanned to figure out what part of the system needs to be checked. Usually it's not the air bag itself that is the problem, but more likely a clock spring in the steering column, broken wire somewhere or even an impact sensor. If this is something you want to get repaired you may have to bring it into a repair shop. Keep in mind your not limited to dealers though, many independent repair facilities are capable of diagnosing and repairing air bag problems.

2003 Tiburon GT-V6, Air Bag light has come on and stays on, PLEASE tell me how to fix without going to the Dealer, Local Dealer has mixed service results

Sorry. The airbag system is propietary to Hyundai manufacturing. The Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) in the Supplememental Restraint System (SRS) are unique to Hyundai - unavoidable unless you can find a High-Scan Pro scanned to pull the code and get the wiring diagrams to solve this. Solution is the Dealer - pay the diag fee and they will give you an estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc)... I know this isn't what you want to hear.. but it's Hyundai's system and only Hyundai has the solution.

2002 Hyundai Elantra, airbag warning light stays on

Airbags can be as dangerous and deadly, as easily as they can save a life. The airbag warning light is telling you that your vehicle has no airbags at this time.

If you don't understand the total airbag system, it's best left to a professional. It's worth the expense to have operable airbags, rather than chance a collision without operable airbags. My suggestion to you is to let the dealer fix your system so it is guaranteed.

Air bag light on

these cars like other budget cars have a life expectancy and being over 10 yr old its very close to being all over red rover [nearly not worth fixing ] if you can legally operate the car in your country without airbags then i would suggest you get the car serviced and if they fail the airbag test get the airbags deactivated , or pay to get the airbags roadworthy . but if you bought the car 2nd hand maybe the car has been in an accident and the airbags removed and not replaced which means you have never had airbags anyway .
