Possibly the fuel pump. here's a hint for code reading on a intrepid older than a 96. put the key in the ignition and turn in on without starting the engine. in this order

then leave it in the on position. the check engine light will start flashing a mourse code at you. count them. all codes should be read as double digits. so if it blinks three times then pauses and blinks another four the code is 34. and the code reading will end at 55. write down the numbers and look them up.

2000 dodge intrepid wont stay running

Have fuel pressure tested in both situations. I've seen fuel pumps quit once they get heated up, then when they cool, pump again. Perhaps try WD40 sprayed in to throttle body inlet when no start, and that will tell you if it's a fuel delivery problem. Just remove air cleaner intake hose at front of throttle body, and open throttle and spray for a second or 2 then try to start. If it fires up and runs for a second or 2, then it's a lack of fuel issue.

Alarm will not reset.Car will start but only run for a couple seconds.Lights will flash and horn will blow. HELP!

Sounds like you have a bad key, or a bad sentry immobilizer. Have it tested at the dealership. They may be able to disable the theft system.

Doesn't seem to be getting fuel when i start it , doesn't run. then after sitting for a while it sometimes starts and run for just a few minutes, whats the problem?

dosent seem to get fuel is different than not getting fuel.
spray some starter fuel in it when it wont run and see if it starts and dies.
it sounds like a ignition module .
but it very well may be a fuel pump is weak and intermitent.

95 Lexus ES 300 difficulty accelerating after car has been parked

I had the same problem. I thought it might have been fuel lines clogged or fuel injectors. It ended up being a vacuum leak. My vacuum lines came unhooked and the main had a big crack in it. Repaired the crack and hooked the lines up and the problem went away.

1995 Ford F-250 replaced fuel filter and alternator, but the truck runs for a few miles then it stalls...or acts like it is out of fuel. it will not start until it has been setting for awhile

Sounds like fuel pump could be on it's way out. Obviously you don't have access to a fuel pressure tester for when it's a no start situation, so maybe try this. Grab a can of WD-40 & a screwdriver/nut driver, that will allow you to take intake hose off at throttle body inlet. Next time it quits, remove air intake hose, open throttle plate & spray WD-40 for a couple of seconds into throttle body. Try to start, if it does, for a second or 2, replace fuel pump. I believe what's happening is once the pump gets warm/hot, is quitting, then sitting, it cools down & pumps up to pressure again. This will confirm.

it could be a number of things. i'd go with the easiest fix first. check your air filter, then check spark plugs, then fuel filter. replace as necesary. good luck
