Something is being left on when you shut off the key. fastest way to tell this is to unhook the positive post of your battery and hook up a multimeter between the post and the cable. with the key off the amps should be almost zero (the radio uses a very small amount for memory) also take the battery out and have it load tested.

How do I start my tahoe after leaving key in ignition and security feature shut off all power

Did you try jump starting the vehicle?

If you left the key on all the accessory functions where on and this will cause the battery to go dead overnight. Jump starting to see if the vehicle will start is a good way to determine if the battery did go dead. Depending on how old the battery is it may have gone bad by letting it go dead overnight. If its more than a few years old it may not be a bad idea to just replace it.

Battery keeps going dead overnight. I've already changed the alternator which tested to be bad and still having the same problem

if you installed a new battery as well as a new alternator, it should not go dead overnight. if you have a short in the vehicle that will drain a new battery that rapidly, the cable would have been melted already. although, dome lights do have a tendency to drain batteries, but not overnight. use a multimeter to check the battery voltage while the motor is running. it should read above 13 volts DC signifying that the alternator is indeed charging the battery.

I got a new battery last year at this time it wasn't til then I started having problems with my factory alarm. I went back again and told them I wanted another that maybe this one had a dead cell. It only...

If the problem started right after the battery was replaced? My thinking is the security system lost battery voltage and that caused the problem. I don't know if reprograming would fix the issue? I can't see anything from here, I can't do any testing, it's just my opinion.
I would say the dealership knows all this? They probably won't try to fix it for free.
Some makes and models, you can replace battery or cables and no problems. Other times, there are all kinds of issues because systems lost battery voltage.
Sometimes, I tell people to use a battery tender or something, so that different systems/modules won't lose all voltage, in order to try to prevent problems.
Like I said, I can't see anything from here, this is just my opinion. I suppose there could be other issues?

I am sorry to say it is going to be very tough to find the problem.
Today's cars and trucks are full of electronics that can cause a small drain at random times. Your truck probably has a dozen relays or more.
The only way to make sure the battery is up when you need it is to install a disconnect switch to cut the connection. But this is going to be a hassle in the case of that short trip.
The problem could be in the alternator, or any number of components. Even the body computer could do it.
One possible source is the module that keeps the accessory power on if your truck has it. On some cars and trucks you can play the radio even after you turn the key off until you open the door. That module can fail and never shut off.

Battery keeps going dead. 06 ls430

With the engin not running and the key off, lift the hood and disconnect the positive lead on the battery. Then touch the lead back to positive terminal on the battery. If a spark is seen, there is something still on in the car. Could be the power mirror switch, seat heaters or even a car phone. Trial and error to find it.

Sorry I can't be more specific but that is the test.

Good luck.

I have a H3 hummer but my truck battery keep going dead and my battery is new and alternator is good

The batteries they put in the trucks from the factory ****. I went through 3 of them under warranty, they lasted 6 months a piece.

I did research to find who made the factory model. I found an alternative manufacture and bought their battery and I have not had a problem sense. I bought a Duralast from auto zone.
