Where is the AC/Heater Control Actuator located?

Hi Joymar, The EATC module is mounted to the heater box under the dash, below the radio,to the right of HVAC controls. access through glove box opening.[remove glove box] look for module with wire & vacuum connections.if you see a linkage arm or rod, those are actuators, follow vacuum lines to control module.an actuator won't cause the fan to run, they control air flow.Automatic temp system modules are known to fail. Which fuse is for the fuel pump on a 89olds delta 88

The fuel pump fuse is under the glove box inside the car.
Why is it blowing is the $100 question!
Here's a good one from left field- Check the Oil Pressure sending unit before going for the in tank pump.
They share the same power (fuse)
Go figure!

Defrost fan works on two speeds ?

Only works on two speeds?

If this is the case...replace your blower control module IF you have auto climate controls.

If you have manual knobs- replace the blower motor resistor assembly.

Both are in the same location, under the glovebox. Remove the kick trim piece under the glove box to access the 2 screws that attach the piece to the blower motor. To unhook the electrical connectors, drop the glove box door. Stick your finger in a hold in the door on the left hand side. There you'll feel a spring loaded metal piece, push on this, and the door will release. Empty your glovebox first! Been there done that.

I need to remove a radio from a 1989 Chevy Caprice. How do I do it?

1: Remove Ashtray
2: Remove Glove Box Door
3: Remove Glove Box (yes it is necessary)
4: Undo all screws on the center dash piece. there are two up top, two on the bottom and 2 or 3 under the dash
5: In the open space where the glove box is, find the temp control cable and unhook it from the heater box. Should be a screw and a fastener
5: GENTLY pull the panel loose. Remember this part is 20+ years old and not easily replaced if broken
6: Unhook all wires and vacuum lines from the rear of the climate controller remove all wires from radio.
7: unscrew the radio part of the center dash piece from the metal support frame. it should be str8 forward and easy to do.

I have done this a few times and it now takes about 10 minutes for disassembly but you should probably figure an hour to an hour and a half to do this.

My 2000 e46 bmw heater blower not working, i've checked the fuse

The E46 blower resistor is harder to remove than the E39 .
Open the Glove box.
Remove the three phillips screws across the top of the open box. Remove the two phillip screws that are deeper in on the sides of the open box(nine and three o'clock). Hard to see, use your flashlight. With these five screw removed remove the glove box. Disconnect the flashlight charger plug, and the glove box light connector. Pay attention to the wire routing. Remove plastic cover behind glove box. Locate motor and metal link to one of the a/c doors. Remove the metal arm from the plastic clip. Slide motor out and disconnect. There is an odd shaped black plastic piece with two T-20 or 25 Torx screws that need to be removed.Remove plastic piece. The Final stage is located behind the metal arm for the a/c door.R emove the floor heater duct for more room. You may or may not feel the need. If you wish pull on the leather extension to the center console outward until you hear a loud plastic cracking. Stop. Take a deep breath and know that you have broken nothing important Remove heater duct careful not to break the blend air door cam (white) and the lever connected to it (black).
You can pull that black lever out if you are patient. Back to the final stage now that you have more room. It is the component with the 5 0r 6 large gauge wires on the connector. Push back the black plastic clamp while pulling/wiggling on the connector.
The final stage should come out, then disconnect the connector. Reinstall all. Make sure the heater duct is installed properly if you removed it.

Replacing side mirror

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
