I don't know what part of the fuel line but it can all be replaced with 5/16 rubber line and hose clamps, the quick connect fittings can also be purchased at a parts store and they have barbs on them so that you can attach the steel line with rubber line. Then you can put things back in place with plastic ties.

How to repalce a fuel filter on a 1997 buick lesabre

The fuel filter should be in the fuel line between the gas tank and the engine. The line runs under the floor of the car.
You'll need a pair of pliers and a couple of wrenches.
One end of the filter uses a crimp clip to hold it in the line, the other end is a threaded pipe fitting.
Be sure to release the fuel pressure in the line before you take the filter loose.

Brake fluid leak is seen at the rear driver side near gas tank how do I repalce this line?

I would strongly suggest that unless you have a brake flair kit,and know how to bleed brake lines you leave this job to a mechanic. This is not the kind of job a novice should be tinkering with, unless you have an experienced friend that can help you.A brake job that is not done properly can be life threatening. Please take my advice on this ,it may not be what you want to hear but it is the truth.Good Luck

Replace fuel pump 2002cheverlot suburban

Best way is to drop the fuel tank down. If there is fuel in the tank you would be advised to use a floor jack to help hold it in place. If you drop it without a jack you stand the risk of ripping out the fuel lines which could make the project a lot more difficult. Having dropped the tank and lowering it safely, you will first have to disconnect the fuel lines from the pump. After the lines are all disconnected there is a ring holding it in the tank. On the ring will be a few tabs that you will use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to tap them around until the fuel pump can be pulled out of the gas tank.

What is the best way to access the fuel pump to repalce it without adding expenses? They want to cut the floor and do it. Will this cause problems in the winter? We live in Michigan with a lot of deep...

Too bad GM doesnt provide a cover to access tank without dropping the tank. I would think creating this "hole" would be quite the endeavor and done correctly would add quite the additional time and expense. Decline cutting holes and drop the tank in order to service the pump/sender. Any reputable repair firm should or would never recomend this measure in order to access the pump in the fuel tank I would hope....

fuel filters are usually located under the driver side of the car. it will be a metal cylinder with 2 lines on it. one going to the engine and one coming from the gas tank.
