This starter changes just like most starter. 3 bolts and remove the wiring. Make sure to disconnect the battery first before starting the repair. It is pretty straight forward with any starter removal. Here is an excerpt from someone who made the same repair
"I removed the Air Intake tube. I also removed the battery and put it on
the side! One the right side of the engine, from above I was able to
remove 2 of the bolts holding on the starter. I then jacked up the car
and was able, with considerable gymnastics, to remove the bottom bolt.
Point - Only use a 14mm wrench or socket. From back on top, I was able
to slide the starter to the right and remove the power cable and the
solanoid cable. Down at the NAPA Store in my town, they put the old
starter on the bench and it failed 5 out of the 6 tests! I picked up a
new one - minus the $60 core charge, for $105 with tax, put it in and
the car starts like a dream. Total time for this amatuer; 3 hours."
Thank you,

Where is the starter relay on 99 kia sephia?

The inside of the fuse box cover has a small diagram, also the manual has one. As for finding one online, I haven't seen one.

Also I suggest check your Kia Sephia Owners Manual.

Good luck (remember rated and comment this).

1999 Kia Sephia turns over but won't start sometimes

I'm disappointed that he hit you for an extra fifty bucks, is this a franchise Kia dealer? I'd go back and talk to the Service Manager, or owner if a small shop. Otherwise go down the street to another shop and tell them your tale of woe; You really don't want a breakdown while en-route. It'll cost more then than you can afford.

1998 Kia Sephia - replace the starter

To put it very simple, if you plan on keeping the vehicle for any real length of time, go to your local parts store and buy a manual. Haynes and Chilton make pretty good repair books. They have pictures, step by step instructions, safety tips, and generally, what tools are needed. A good book runs about $25.00. If you're gonna keep it, buy the book. There is no way anyone can answer you question in the proper details needed on this limited site.

Good Luck and check it out.
