My 92 ran so bad and after a while would barely start. I discovered that it was tied to the throttle body fuel injection. Drove me nuts, but found that if I pulled the ecm fuse, then started the engine, shut it down, put the fuse back, then did a reset sequence (depress accelerator slightly, start engine, run for three seconds, shut off for ten seconds, then restart) it went back to normal and has run fine for months.

Test it and tell us news.

To know excatly what sensor are wrong there, I suggtes scanned the engine, with this OBD codes we can send specific details about solve it.

The O2 sensors cant be repair, just replaced, but we need know if you have any code about this sensor in there.

To remove the ECM fuse (located in the engine
compartment's fuse box) for 15 minutes then reinstall it. Resetting the
ECM may clear up some of the issues you are having.

ok. under the hood I press the throttle, I noticed when I go a little high than a normal idle it starts to surge up and down up and down up and down.

The ECM for 1991 Isuzu Truck Trooper (Engine Control Computer) is located front seating area, center, under console, between front seats, mounted under rear part of console. Also you could "reset" it disconnected the negative battery for few minutes, when reconnected, then the ECU has been reset.

Keep in mind that ECM (Engine Control Module) = ECU (Engine Control Unit); for +/- '96 and later this is called PCM (Powertrain Control Module)

I presume that most of the knowledge in the manual is appliable to other years /models
, check the link for downloading the factory's service manual:

    - Trooper_Manual
(its on an israeli site and its a pdf format,
    download and save)

Be patiente, 3500 pages and more to download take several minutes.

My 1991 Toyota Corolla had it's fuel pump replaced 3 months ago.

Yes. may be filter. But first check fuel pressure at injector rail. Should be approx 40 PSI. any lower will cause these symptoms.

Replacing fuel filter should be a given when changing pump, get it changed today.
